Job summary

Amergis, a staffing partner for healthcare and school professionals, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for school-based services. You will evaluate students and deliver therapy per each student's plan of care and physician orders.

The role requires state licensure, with CCC-SLP preferred. You may need CPR, health clearance, and regulatory compliance, depending on contract and state regulations. Collaboration with educators is essential.

Qualifications

• Active SLP licensure in the state of assignment is required.
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with all relevant standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations in the school setting.
• Provide and document therapy services per the plan of care.
• Document progress and communicate with school staff and families as required.
