Job summary

Muskegon Heights Public School Academy is seeking two dedicated Speech Language Pathologists to join our team. The role focuses on prevention, assessment, and remediation for students with language, speech, voice, and fluency difficulties, aiming to support academic and life success.

Responsibilities include collaborating on interventions, coordinating with staff and IEP teams, conducting screenings, maintaining program records, and presenting data to evaluative teams.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible Michigan SLP with Approved status.
• Skills in administration and interpretation of tests.
• Experience with IEPs and collaboration with school staff.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff to plan interventions, curricula, and teaching strategies.
• Schedule interventions using multiple service delivery models to meet needs.
• Maintain records and prepare periodic reports for the speech-language program.
• Conduct screenings of speech, language, and hearing.
• Attend IEP/504 meetings and RTI/SSIT meetings as requested.
• Prepare evaluation summaries and present data to the IEP team.
