Job summary

Muskegon Heights Public School Academy is seeking two dedicated Speech Language Pathologists to support students’ language, speech, voice, and fluency needs. You will provide prevention, assessment, and remediation services aligned with school goals to promote academic and life success.

Responsibilities include planning interventions, coordinating with staff, conducting screenings, and contributing to IEP teams. A Michigan SLP license and background check are required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff to plan interventions and teaching strategies.
• Schedule interventions using classroom, consultation, and pull-out models as appropriate.
• Maintain records and prepare periodic reports for the speech-language program.
• Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings.
• Present data to the IEP/Multidisciplinary team.
• Attend RTI/SSIT and IEP/504 meetings as requested.
• Adhere to all regulations and ethical standards.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
