Qualifications

  • Familiarity with IEP development and special education compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the administrator over special education to coordinate daily service schedules and IEP meetings.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including eligibility determinations and progress monitoring.
  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and contribute to assessment planning.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized speech-language goals aligned with each student’s IEP.
  • Provide specially designed instruction to meet communication needs through various service models.
  • Document service delivery and compliance paperwork per guidelines.
  • Consult with teachers and families to support carryover of communication strategies across settings.
