Career Links is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our school-based network for a full-time assignment. You will provide therapy services to students with communication challenges and collaborate with a dedicated special education team.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• State Teaching Credential (or ability to obtain).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Preferred: CCC-SLP from ASHA.
• Experience working in a public school setting or with IEPs.
• Familiarity with Medicaid billing practices and compliance.
• Cultural competency in working with diverse student populations.
• CF supervision available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers.
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development activities.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic strategies and technologies, including AAC.
• Support inclusive practices and adapt interventions for diverse student populations.
• Provide training or guidance to classroom staff to generalize communication strategies.
