Job summary

Career Links is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based assignment across various districts for the 2026/2027 school year. You will provide therapy services, evaluations, IEP development, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support students’ communication goals.

You’ll work with CFs or seasoned SLPs, access mentoring, and benefit from a supportive caseload and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• State Teaching Credential or ability to obtain.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in compliance with IDEA and state standards.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students with speech and language impairments.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs to ensure legal and ethical compliance.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support student goals.
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development activities.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic strategies and technologies, including AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
• Support inclusive practices and adapt interventions to support diverse student populations.
• Provide training or guidance to classroom staff, if applicable, to generalize communication strategies.
