Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, onsite contract in the Washington DC metro area, supporting elementary through high school students from August 2026 through May 2027.

You will conduct assessments, develop IEPs, collaborate with educators and families, provide direct therapy, and maintain detailed documentation to support student communication and academic success.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Virginia.
• Prior school-based SLP experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver speech-language interventions.
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for qualifying students.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student outcomes.
• Provide direct therapy and advocate for students' communication needs.
• Maintain detailed records in compliance with all regulations.
