Strides Therapy & Educational Services in Rockville, MD, is seeking a School-Based Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist to join Montgomery County Public Schools. This position focuses on supporting students' communication and language development within the school setting.

As a CFY-level SLP, you will collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to provide direct therapy and evidence-based interventions, with a 7-hour day schedule and 35 hours per week in a dynamic, in-person

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• MD Limited SLP License with eligibility for ASHA certification following the CFY year.
• Educator Certificate (if applicable).
• Experience working with school-age children preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs in the classroom and beyond.
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training.
