Job summary

Strides Therapy & Educational Services is seeking a School-Based Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist in Montgomery County Public Schools. The position blends in-person school work with collaborative planning alongside teachers and families to support students’ communication goals.

The Fellow will conduct assessments, create and implement individualized plans, and provide direct therapy while documenting progress and participating in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• MD Limited SLP License with eligibility for ASHA CFY.
• Experience working with school-age children preferred.
• Educator Certificate (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs in the classroom and beyond.
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training.
