Strides Therapy & Educational Services is seeking a Private School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Frederick County, MD. The SLP will assess and treat students in a school setting, support classroom participation, and collaborate with teachers and families.

The role follows the Frederick County calendar with up to 37.5 hours per week for full-time employment. Competitive benefits and professional support are provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Maryland State licensure or willingness to obtain.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification or CF completion.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop IEP-aligned plans.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to improve articulation, language, and fluency.
• Collaborate with educators, parents and school teams to implement strategies.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Document session notes, progress reports and billing records.
• Participate in IEP and team meetings and pursue professional development.
