Job summary

LLA Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist in Northeast Ohio to service school-based settings. You will provide therapy to an assigned caseload under IEP/ETR guidance, document progress, and participate in multidisciplinary collaboration with educators and families.

Requirements include an Ohio licensure, Master’s degree in SLP, and strong communication skills. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement options, with a focus on professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Current licensure to practice Speech Language Therapy in Ohio.
• Proficient in English; reading, writing and comprehension.
• Background checks (FBI/BCI) upon hire.
• Ohio Department of Education Certification (can be completed upon hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing treatment to assigned caseload.
• Document, monitor, analyze, and report students’ progress and effects of treatment.
• Conduct educationally relevant evaluations and report findings in ETRs.
• Write educational therapy goals and student background information in IEPs.
• Attend and report evaluation findings and therapy recommendations in IEP/ETR meetings.
• Collaborate with school personnel and families to build a positive learning culture.
• Maintain therapy minutes and report due dates.
• Complete Medicaid billing in alignment with deadlines.
