Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a School Services Speech-Language Pathologist for a local contract in Salem, Oregon.

You will deliver speech-language services to birth-to-three children, perform evaluations, and collaborate with families to support communication development in natural environments. The role includes a 35-hour weekly schedule, 41 weeks duration, and requires Oregon SLP licensure with CCC-SLP preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders required.
• Valid Oregon SLP License required.
• Active ASHA CCC-SLP (Highly Preferred).
• Must complete background check and two sets of fingerprints for school clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized speech and language services to a caseload of children ages birth to three.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify developmental delays and determine eligibility for early childhood services.
• Partner with families and caregivers to implement communication strategies within the child’s natural environment.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports using a district-provided laptop.

Education

Oregon Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
