Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services, Inc. is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in the San Mateo area. You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy in collaboration with teachers and school staff.

You will help set IEP goals, participate in meetings, document progress, and support AAC use. The role offers mentorship, ongoing professional development, relocation assistance, and a strong team committed to student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) for students with a range of communication needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, and pragmatics.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Support use of AAC and assistive technology as needed.
