Job summary

FamilyCore seeks a dedicated professional to deliver Social and Emotional Learning to students referred from local public schools. The role uses group and individual settings to teach Self-Awareness, Self-Regulation, Social Awareness, Relationships and Decision-Making, aiming to boost student outcomes.

Responsibilities include developing SEL services, data reporting, de-escalation, family collaboration, and school coordination, with a focus on safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required.
• 1-3 years' experience required.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to attain.
• Must pass background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and implement individual and group SEL services.
• Collect, enter and report client data outputs and outcomes.
• Working knowledge of de-escalation techniques and methods.
• Perform strengths-based assessments.
• Develop and monitor goals.
• Obtain parental permission and develop effective working relationships with them.
• Adhere to standards adopted through Council on Accreditation.
• Develop effective working relationships with school personnel.
• Identify, locate and refer students and parents to community resources.
• Conduct home visits.
• Provide safe transportation of students and parents.
• Organize and maintain data and confidential information.
• Participate in school-based meetings (Tier 1-3).
• Ensure safety protocols and policies are practiced.
