Job summary

Devereux Center for Effective Schools is seeking a dedicated SAP Liaison to provide prevention, intervention, and referral services within Montgomery County school districts. You will work with students, families, educators, and community providers to address mental health, substance use, trauma, and barriers to student success.

The role emphasizes early intervention, documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive outcomes for youth and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Education, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in behavioral health, human services, education, or a related setting.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and ability to travel between school locations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Required clearances: Act 33/34, Act 168, PDE, and DPW/FBI Fingerprints.

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention, intervention, consultation, and referral services to students in the Student Assistance Program.
• Conduct behavioral health screenings and facilitate psychoeducational groups.
• Connect students and families to appropriate community resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure program compliance.
• Build collaborative relationships with educators, administrators, families, and community partners.
