Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a Registered Nurse to support school health programs across districts. You will provide basic student care, oversee medication administration, and educate students and staff on healthy habits.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with eligibility for a School Nurse endorsement; experience in pediatric mental health is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to coordinate with staff, parents, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Endorsement as School Nurse or eligibility per state education bylaws.
• Experience or training in pediatric mental health preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain ethical and accountability standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with staff, parents, and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care for students when injured or ill and manage chronic conditions.
• Oversee the school's medication administration program.
• Educate students and staff on healthy habits such as hygiene and nutrition.
• Work with school staff to ensure physical and emotional safety of the school community.
