Job summary

Soliant is seeking a school-based Registered Nurse to support students near Colorado Springs, CO. The RN will perform health assessments, administer medications, develop IHPs, and respond to emergencies in line with school policy.

Applicants must hold an active unrestricted RN license with pediatric or school health experience and current BLS/CPR certification. Excellent communication with students, staff and families is essential.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of school health procedures, IHPs, and medication administration.
• Skilled in emergency response and first aid protocols.
• Excellent communication with students, staff and families.
• Adaptable; thrives in diverse school environments.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine health assessments for students, including vision/hearing screenings.
• Administer prescribed medications and minor treatments as needed.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized healthcare plans (IHPs).
• Provide first aid and emergency care per school policies.
• Educate students and staff on health, hygiene and wellness best practices.
• Coordinate student care with families, educators, and external providers.
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with regulations.
