Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a contract School Nurse to support students' health and well-being near Lawrence, MA. The role focuses on promoting safe, healthy learning environments and collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators.

Ideal candidates are licensed RNs or LPNs in Massachusetts with school- or pediatric-health experience, capable of managing acute needs, medication administration, and chronic-condition care plans. CPR/BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Active and current RN or LPN/LVN license in Massachusetts.
• Experience in school, pediatric, or public health settings preferred.
• Experience with care planning for chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies is helpful.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer first aid and manage acute health needs during the school day.
• Oversee medication administration and care for students with health plans.
• Maintain detailed health records per school policies and state regulations.
• Provide wellness, hygiene, and safety education to staff and students.
• Support students with individualized health concerns with an inclusive approach.
• Participate in emergency response protocols as needed.
