Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Peapack, NJ for the 26/27 school year. This full-time role supports a local K-12 district with private duty/1:1 nursing services.

Responsibilities include monitoring student health plans, first aid, and coordination with families and school staff. Prior school-based experience is highly preferred and a collaborative clinical team backs you up.

Qualifications

• RN license in New Jersey
• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program
• Current BLS CPR/AED certification
• Competent in seizure management, tube feedings, oxygen/airway, meds, and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous observation of the assigned student during the school day.
• Implement and monitor student health plans.
• Accompany student during transportation and community activities.
• Communicate significant status changes to family, school staff, and clinical leadership.
• Provide first aid, daily medical care, and emergency support.
• Maintain student confidentiality per FERPA/HIPAA.
