The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Danbury, NC for the 26/27 school year. This full-time role supports a local K-12 district with private duty/1:1 nursing services.

Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina
• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program
• Current BLS CPR/AED certification
• Demonstrated competency in tube feedings, oxygen/airway management, and medication administration
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently in a non-clinical environment
• Experience working with Pediatric population

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school day
• Implement and monitor student health plans
• Accompany student during transportation and community-based activities when assigned
• Communicate significant status changes to family, school staff, and clinical leadership
• Provide first aid, daily medical care, and emergency support
• Maintain student confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and HIPAA requirements
