Job summary

Bilingual Therapies is seeking a Registered Nurse for a contract role in New Jersey, supporting elementary and middle school students in a full-time capacity. The nurse will work Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, Sept 4 through June 25, totaling 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities include health screenings, emergency care, and collaboration with educators and families to maintain a healthy school environment.

Qualifications

• NJ School Nurse RN licensure is required.
• Experience in a school-based nursing role is required.
• Ability to manage caseloads across elementary and middle school populations.
• Oversee health services for entire school buildings.
• Familiarity with district procedures and policies.
• Access to reliable transportation for daily commute.
• Completion of onboarding requirements: TB test, physical exam, and fingerprinting.

• Deliver comprehensive health care and emergency response to students and staff.
• Conduct health screenings and manage chronic and acute health concerns; maintain health documentation.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and district personnel to foster a healthy school environment.
• Establish and implement individualized health plans as needed.

• Ensure compliance with state and district regulations across assigned buildings.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a Registered Nurse, working closely with school communities in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time position spans from September 4th to June 25th, running Monday through Friday, 8:15AM to 3:15PM, for 35 hours per week. • Demonstrated experience in a school-based nursing role

• Familiarity and comfort navigating district procedures and policies
• Access to reliable transportation and proximity for daily commute
• Completion of onboarding requirements: TB test, physical exam, and both agency and district fingerprinting
