Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking an experienced school nurse to support students across up to five campuses for the 2026-2027 academic year. This itinerant RN role collaborates with faculty and staff to promote health, wellness, and safety in a district setting.

The position is on-site only, with compensation ranging from $31.91 to $51.91 per hour. Licensure requirements include RN, Public Health Nurse, and School Nurse endorsed by the Board of Teaching; CPR and BLS certifications are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary health resource for up to five schools districtwide.
• Assess, intervene, and manage acute and chronic health conditions.

• Educate students, families, and staff on health and wellness matters.
• Participate in IEP/504 planning and crisis response.
• Maintain accurate student health records and ensure state compliance.

With responsibility for five schools during the 2026-2027 academic year, you’ll play a vital role in promoting student health, wellness, and safety in a dynamic educational environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Public Health Nurse license
• School Nurse license issued by the Board of Teaching
• Current CPR and BLS certifications
• Prior school nursing experience or experience in pediatric/child health is a plus
• Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize, collaborate, and adapt across multiple school locations
