Smile Programs is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join its school-based mobile dental program in Erie, PA and surrounding areas. This role is part-time, Fridays, with travel to schools and a focus on underserved children.

You will provide prophylaxis, sealants, fluoride, and education, maintain patient records, and collaborate with dentists. The position offers a predictable school-day schedule, health benefits, and professional growth in a unique, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed RDH in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist; sealants and polishing experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to schools in neighboring counties.
• Comfort working with children; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with oral health management of all patients.
• Verify patient identity before procedures and review medical history.
• Obtain oral health assessments and provide prophylaxis, sealants and fluoride.
• Assist dentist and provide oral health education and counseling.
• Document services in patient charts and travel to school sites daily.
• Collaborate with team and support a positive work environment.
