Job summary

The Brandywine School in West Chester, PA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support and mentor children and adolescents in a school setting. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, with a 52-week year and supervision for professional development.

You will work 1:1 with students, ensure safety, provide behavioral health interventions, and deescalate challenging behaviors while participating in a supportive, clinically focused environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the BACB.
• At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Requires strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with children on a 1:1 basis in a school environment.
• Ensure the safety and supervision of the children.
• Provide interventions to children with emotional support and behavioral health needs in a school setting.
• Deescalate and mitigate behaviors.
