iDEAL Hire is seeking a local contract School Physical Therapist for a contract role in Louisville, GA. The position offers 36 hours per week at a starting rate of $57/hr, with a 33-week duration and 8-hour day shifts.

Travel between schools may be required, and the role focuses on school-based PT services under IEPs and 504 Plans. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in Physical Therapy and a Georgia PT license, with pediatric or school-based experience preferred and strong

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Georgia Physical Therapy license.
• Pediatric or school-based therapy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with IEPs, 504 Plans, and related special education practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students' mobility, balance, gross motor skills, and functional needs.
• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEPs and 504 Plans.
• Provide school-based PT services to support participation in classroom activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and provide mobility/positioning guidance.
• Maintain documentation and travel between assigned school locations.
