Job summary

Mid America Health is seeking a Full Time Portable Dental Assistant to join our School Smiles team. This role is Monday - Friday, during school hours, based around Elizabethtown, KY, with travel within a 2-hour radius to provide portable dental services to schoolchildren.

The position offers an hourly rate of $27.00 for clinic hours and drive time, plus full benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, generous PTO, holidays, FSA, and an HSA.

Qualifications

• Kentucky X-ray license is required.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers is required.
• 1 year dental assistant experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius.

Responsibilities

• Maintain portable equipment and company van.
• Assist Dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school.
• Load/unload and setup of dental operatory inside school.
• Various administrative duties.
