• Associate's degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program is required.
• Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist for special education students.
• Implement selected components of interventions/treatment and obtain data on interventions.
• Modify interventions as directed to progress the student or ensure safety and comfort.
• Record billable treatment times and document for students receiving MEDICAID according to guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and therapy areas and participate in staff development as needed.
