Job summary

Pacific Coast Speech Services, a member of Point Quest Group, is hiring a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant for a school-based role in Santa Barbara for the 2026-2027 school year. Plan and deliver therapy aligned with IEP goals for children aged 0–22 with orthopedic or developmental needs.

You will collaborate with classroom teachers and a supervising PT, document progress, and communicate with families. Competitive benefits and mentorship accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Current Physical Therapy Assistant License in the state where services are delivered.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Consultation & Instruction: Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate therapy into classroom-based activities.
• Partner with a Physical Therapist to discuss and refine treatment plans, ensuring supervision and alignment with therapeutic goals.
• Engage with parents to incorporate their child's therapy program into daily routines.
• Data Collection & Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate documentation for all student therapy sessions and progress.
• Time Off Management for Full-Time School Employees: Schedule time off during school breaks with supervisor approval.
