Job summary

Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) seeks a Physical Therapist to assess, plan, and support IEP goals for students across our Windsor/Bloomfield schools. The PT provides educationally relevant intervention services to enhance participation and learning in diverse environments.

The PT collaborates with educators, parents, and staff; requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in CT.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess student PT needs and develop measurable, educationally relevant goals.
• Plan and implement therapeutic interventions aligned with IEPs.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals.
• Document therapy services, progress, and Medicaid billing where required.
• Maintain equipment and report on therapy materials and supplies.
