Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or eligibility for certification.
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist.

Responsibilities

• Providing specialized PT services to students with disabilities or injuries that impact participation in school activities.
• Assessing students' physical abilities to support access and engagement in education.
• Developing individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
• Implementing interventions to improve motion, mobility, and school participation.
• Conducting assessments and documenting progress.
• Managing adaptations and equipment as needed.
• Developing IEP goals and objectives related to physical therapy.
• Creating fitness and wellness programs tailored to students.
