Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a full-time school-based contract in Georgia for the 2026-2027 year. You will support students in Griffin and Fayetteville areas, delivering services in the educational setting and promoting mobility and independence.

You will evaluate students, set individual goals, monitor progress, and collaborate with educators, administrators and families to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia licensure as a PT or PTA.
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred.
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans for students.
• Strong collaboration with educators, families and teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PT/PTA services to students in the educational setting.
• Evaluate and design intervention goals, monitor progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators and caregivers for coordinated care.
• Maintain clear documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
• Educate staff and families about strategies supporting development and participation.
• Adjust programs to meet changing student needs.
