Sunbelt Staffing in Griffin, GA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a full-time school-based contract for the 2026-2027 year. The role involves delivering therapies under IEPs, collaborating with teachers and families, and supporting student mobility and participation.

Ideal candidates hold an active Georgia PT/PTA license, have school-based or pediatric experience, and excel in documentation and teamwork.

Qualifications

Active Georgia PT or PTA license is required.
Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable.
Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse student needs.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver physical therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs.
Assess, develop, and implement therapy plans that support student mobility, development, and participation in school activities.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success.
Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight for student planning.
Support students in achieving educational and developmental goals through evidence-based interventions.
