Job summary

CESA 6 is hiring a Physical Therapist to support students with special educational needs in a school setting. The role is available part time or full time, with duties including evaluation, direct therapy, and collaboration with educators and families to implement IEPs.

Applicants must hold a Wisconsin PT license and DPI licensure, with a bachelor’s in PT; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold Wisconsin PT license and DPI Physical Therapy license (License #817).
• APTA-accredited PT program is required (bachelor’s).
• Master’s/Doctorate in PT is preferred or desired.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate sensory-motor needs and functional status of students with disabilities.
• Provide direct treatment and assist with lifts, transfers and positioning.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff and parents to support student goals.
• Develop and monitor individual therapy plans aligned with IEPs.
• Write evaluation reports, daily notes and IEP documentation.
