Qualifications

• Valid Ohio PT license and Ohio State Board of Education Pupil Services credentials.

• Satisfactory fingerprinting and criminal records check results.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement educationally relevant physical therapy services using evidence-based practices.
• Conduct activity/environmental analyses and identify barriers to participation.
• Develop goals, objectives, and benchmarks with students, families, and staff.
• Guide students in therapy regimens and equipment use to improve mobility and daily living skills.
• Conduct assistive technology assessments and adapt equipment as needed.
• Document therapy progress, evaluation results, and implications for instruction; monitor efficacy and adjust interventions.
• Support student access to inclusive educational opportunities and promote positive behavior interventions.
