Job summary

Child'sPlay Therapy Center in Pell City, Alabama, is seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our school team part-time. This position serves a school system outside the Birmingham metro area, offering a rewarding blend of clinical therapy with a school-based schedule.

With over 10 years of history delivering therapeutic services in academic settings, our team provides mentorship, robust training, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice physical therapy.
• Pediatric physical therapy experience or other experience working with children in a clinical capacity.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy services for clients
• Complete all required documentation for clients
• Collaborate with Child'sPlay colleagues and school team to discuss progress and recommendations for clients
• PT only - Perform diagnostic evaluations and document, analyze, and interpret results
• Collaborate with teachers, special education coordinators, and other services providers to help clients reach their goals
• Attend IEP meetings to advocate for the clients school based services
• Participate in our mentorship network as either mentee or mentor

The Position:
