Job summary

Child'sPlay Therapy Center in Chelsea, AL seeks a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or PTA to join our school-based team full-time, outside the Birmingham metro. This role supports students in an academic setting with over 10 years of history delivering therapeutic services.

You will collaborate with schools, teachers, and our therapy colleagues to implement IEP goals, provide individual therapy, document meticulously, and participate in a mentorship network and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice physical therapy.
• Pediatric physical therapy experience or working with children in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy services for clients
• Complete all required documentation for clients
• Collaborate with Child'sPlay colleagues and school team to discuss progress and recommendations for clients
• PT only - Perform diagnostic evaluations and document, analyze, and interpret results
• Collaborate with teachers, special education coordinators, and other service providers to help clients reach their goals
• Attend IEP meetings to advocate for the clients school based services
• Participate in our mentorship network as either mentee or mentor

The Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated PT or PTA to join our school team full-time. This is a desirable school system outside of the metro Birmingham area. This is an ideal opportunity to join a practice with over 10 years of history delivering therapeutic services in the academic setting.
