Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work cooperatively with students, teachers, administrators, peers and parents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise identified student(s) in hallways, bathrooms, playgrounds and rest time in a safe, structured manner.
• Provide general assistance including lifting and daily living skills support.
• Assist teacher and therapists (OT/PT/Speech) as needed.
• Prepare materials efficiently and follow teacher/principal directions.
• Support non-instructional needs and behavior expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
