Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support students in an elementary life skills classroom. The role focuses on students with autism and behavioral challenges, helping them achieve academic, social, and behavioral goals in a supportive school environment.

This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 8:20 AM to 3:50 PM, with responsibilities including one-to-one support, implementing behavior plans, assisting with transitions, and collaborating with

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience working with students who exhibit behavioral challenges.
• Experience supporting students with autism preferred.
• Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students throughout the school day.
• Assist students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals.
• Implement behavior support strategies and interventions as directed by school staff.
• Support students with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental or behavioral needs.
• Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and daily routines.
• Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and support staff regarding student progress and needs.
