Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is hiring School Based Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide 1:1 care for students with special needs in Scranton and surrounding PA areas. The role covers ages 4–21, with a Monday–Friday day shift and hours varying per case.

Compensation includes $22 per hour, with in-services at $18 per hour; paid weekly with benefits such as PTO and education courses. Responsibilities include following school policies, keeping students on task, and reporting any concerns to the Interim

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Six months experience in related field (behavioral health, pediatrics, etc.).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Follow school policies and procedures.
• Assist in keeping the client on task in a classroom setting.
• Redirect when necessary in case of disruption.
• Assist with bathroom duties, if needed.
• Ensure that the child is safe and not harming others.
• Report observations or concerns to Interim supervisor.
