Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Registered Nurse with pediatric experience to support a school health office near San Diego, CA. This contract role offers flexibility with a full-time schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) or a part-time arrangement for three days per week, starting ASAP through January 15th.

Compensation ranges from $35.77 to $55.77 per hour. Eligible candidates may receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Open for 60 days from posting date.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California.
• Pediatric nursing experience required.
• Comfortable performing general nursing responsibilities in a school environment.
• No prior school nursing experience necessary—on-the-job support provided.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Ability to adapt quickly and provide compassionate care to children.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the health needs of students in the general health office.
• Administer medication, provide first aid, and respond to health emergencies.
• Communicate with students, parents, and school staff regarding health issues.
• Maintain detailed health records in accordance with state and district policies.
• Collaborate with a full-time health assistant to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Educate students on wellness and preventative care as needed.
