Family of Kidz in New York is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to support school-age children across Long Island. You will design and implement therapy interventions, complete evaluations, and collaborate with family, school teams, and coordinators to advance IEP goals.

Applicants must hold a PT degree and a NY license; bilingual skills are a plus. We offer school-based placements with flexible scheduling, competitive hourly pay, and full-time or fee-for-service opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Physical Therapy and be licensed in NY.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with school teams and families.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up physical therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators regarding case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedule with assigned families/school personnel.
• Collect data on each IEP goal and report progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference CSE meetings and annual reviews.
