Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Physical Therapist to support school-based caseloads in Central Suffolk County, NY. Compensation ranges from $60-$120/hour, with potential to earn over $200/hour for larger groups.

Full-time and fee-for-service options exist, with a $2K sign-on after 90 days of active cases. Expect generous benefits for full-time staff, including PTO, holidays, health insurance, 401(k), and professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current New York State Physical Therapy License.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up physical therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain a schedule with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collect data on each IEP goal and report progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
