Software Placement Group is partnering with a Bronx, NY school to hire an Occupational Therapist. This full-time, on-site position supports students with disabilities, helping them build daily living and academic skills in a supportive environment.

New graduates are welcome to apply and join a collaborative team. Responsibilities include reviewing IEPs, setting goals, preparing reports, and coordinating with teachers and families to implement individualized plans, with competitive compensation

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid New York state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review IEPs and implement targeted goals
• Prepare quarterly and annual reports, including IEP updates
• Assess student needs and develop individualized implementation plans
• Strengthen fine motor skills through targeted interventions
• Differentiate instruction to meet each student's unique needs
• Design plans and utilize equipment to support daily living skills
• Improve visual, auditory, sensory, and perceptual functioning
