Job summary

Thrive By 5 is a pediatric therapy agency seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide School Based (K-12) services located in Clyde, NY. This is a full time position, but part-time can be considered.

The OT will serve children ages 5-11 in individual and group sessions, collaborate on IEP goals, and communicate with families to support learning across settings. NYS OT licensure is required, along with strong written and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Doctoral, M.A., or M.S. degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• NYS License in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to collaborate with the clinical team and all related service providers on a caseload.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled Occupational Therapy services to children ages 5-11 in individual and group sessions.
• Contribute to the development and follow through of the IEP.
• Establish and maintain parent communication and education to support carryover across settings.
• Collaborate with other service providers to support IEP goals and objectives.
• Complete session notes and annual reviews as required.
• Complete assessments for new referrals and incoming students.
• Collaborate with center-based team.
• Maintain the highest clinical and ethical standards in service provision.
