Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Maryland OT license or eligibility.
• NBCOT certification required or in progress.
• Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and IDEA regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct OT services to pediatric students in a school-based setting.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Document progress notes, evaluation reports, and IEP goals.
• Provide sensory integration, fine motor, and self-care interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings and parent-teacher conferences as needed.

Requirements:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT licensure in the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
• NBCOT certification required or in progress
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, IDEA regulations, and school-based OT practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children of varying needs
