Job summary

Apploi is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join a school-based team in Westover, Maryland. This role focuses on helping students achieve functional, academic, and social success by delivering OT services to school-aged children on a part-time, contract basis.

The position offers on-site services with a typical school-day schedule (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM) four days per week, requiring collaboration with teachers and families, evaluations, progress notes, and participation in IEP meetings

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Maryland Occupational Therapy license.
• School-based experience required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for working with children in an educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals.
• Conduct evaluations and write progress notes and reports.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families.
• Support students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and daily living skills.
