Job summary

Dayton Children’s is expanding its School-Based Health program in Fairborn, Ohio, and we are looking for a passionate APP to join our growing team. This role provides pediatric primary and preventive care directly within the school setting, serving birth through 21 years old.

The position is 0.8 FTE on the academic calendar with a predictable daytime schedule and potential summer opportunities. Join a growing, collaborative team and help shape school-based healthcare in our community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and NP licensure in Ohio.
• Master’s degree for NP and PA level credentials as applicable.
• Clinical experience in pediatric or ambulatory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare for children and adolescents.
• Perform physical assessments and examinations.
• Evaluate patients and develop diagnoses.
• Develop, initiate, and manage individualized plans of care and treatment.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Provide health education and guidance to students and families.
• Initiate appropriate consultations and referrals.
• Collaborate with physicians, school personnel, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
