Point Quest Group is seeking a school-based paraprofessional in Laddonia, MO to support K-12 students. The role requires a ParaPathways assessment or 60 college credits, plus a high school diploma or GED, and background checks. 18+ years old. English language skills and basic behavior support are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have ETS ParaPathways assessment or 60 hours of college credit.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Criminal Background & Fingerprinting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: English usage, punctuation, spelling and grammar.
• Preferred: General concepts of child growth and development and child behavior characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Work with small groups of students in an instructional capacity.
• Assist and provide support for students, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments to reinforce learning concepts.
• Assist in maintaining appropriate classroom environment to ensure a safe and positive learning experience.
• Monitor individual students in the classroom, library, or during playground activities to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
• Maintain confidentiality in all correspondence and communications.
• Establish and maintain a cooperative relationship with parents, students, and teachers in the course of work.
