Job summary

Child Guidance Resource Centers is seeking a School Based Mental Health Outpatient Therapist in Havertown, PA. This part-time role involves providing evidence-based therapy to children and adolescents within our outpatient OPS program, using talk, play, art, and CBT approaches to reach treatment goals.

The position emphasizes flexible scheduling, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and dedication to quality care for families while meeting program expectations and documentation

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, nursing, rehabilitative or activity therapy or related behavioral health field is required.
• Minimum of one year experience working with children, adolescents and families is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to determine diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy to children and adolescents.
• Develop measurable and timely treatment goals.
• Collaborate with other professionals involved in the child’s care.
• Offer information/referral services to ensure access to appropriate services.
