Job summary

Alerion Healthcare in Kenosha, WI is seeking a full-time, itinerant school-based Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 year. The role covers evaluations, direct and consultative therapy, and collaboration across three school sites.

Schedule runs Monday to Friday, 7:55 AM to 3:14 PM, with a 40-hour workweek and caseload of about 34-45 students. Travel between sites is required; licensure in Wisconsin is mandatory or obtainable before start.

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Occupational Therapist license, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start of assignment.
• School-based or pediatric OT experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel between assigned school sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement therapy services in accordance with student IEPs.
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services in the school setting.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, administrators, and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations.
